When receiving an invitation through Nathan Burke’s facebook page regarding Magic Touch we were amazed by the photos! Two thoughts cross our minds, 1. What is his stress status? 2. How soon can we see this boar? When we arrived at the Burke Farm we were curious to see how good this boar was especially during the hottest heat we have seen in awhile. On the move, he never missed a step with each toe hitting the pocket every time. We love hogs that are built from the ground up. He has enormous even toes with stout flat bone. We appreciate his skeleton and head carriage that is stout but youthful in appearance. Magic Touch is a tall fronted, massive loin sire with abundance of hip and stifle shape. This hog defines the true definition of squareness from every angle of hip, rump, blade, and base width. We believe his degree of muscling is awesome for a negative sire. But most importantly, we feel that his depth of body and rib balances him with the proper flank. Magic Touch is the best natural made combination sire to surface this season in one package! |
