Anyone in the swine industry knows how “Committed” the Rodibaugh Family has been over the years to breed hogs that will make a positive influence. Jim called us a week before Duncan and said that he had a boar that was unique to anything that they had ever put together, and since he could remember, he had never had a boar like this on the farm. When we went to see this guy, we had to agree. Committed has all the production, body mass, design, and correctness that is expected from a hog coming off the Rodibaugh farm, but he has so much more. This guy has unbelievable power through his chest, the curvature to his front forearm, and his entire front end is put together perfectly. He is massive down his top and ties in great in his ham loin. With all of this, he has a great turn to his top, huge hip, and has more lower and middle stifle than any Yorkshire boar we have seen in recent years. He has the potential to be a great barrow sire and to make those females that will take you to the next level. |
